New Build

The unveiling of a plaque in the new Sports Hall took place on 19th June. Ian Wright put off his flight to Japan (he is part of the presentation team for the match England v Brazil on the 21st) in order to keep his commitment to the school. He visited some of the classrooms and was splendid with the kids who, of course, were awe-struck. A tremendous cheer greeted his arrival in the Hall. He opened the little curtains having first called for a count of four from the kids. He was presented with a beautiful drawing by one of the senior pupils and gave him a big hug then told the kids to make use of the facilities... and off he went to catch his plane.
